Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University

The university creates necessary conditions for students with special educational needs when their
timetable is formed. Lectures, practical and laboratory classes are delivered in the classrooms of the
buildings which have ramps and elevators or only on the first floor of the building.

Buildings and dormitories are equipped both with a button to call the duty staff, as well as а sign
where the phone number of the duty staff is written. They are located near the central entrance to
the building and are easily accessible and visible.

Assistance for people with special educational needs is specified by the  «The Order of Assistance
(assistance provision) for disabled people and other low-mobility groups of the population in the
Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University» .

People with special educational needs, which are unable to visit the University, can study to obtain
higher education at home using distance learning technologies – University e-learning courses- that
involve:

– convenient access to study materials of the available courses;
– consultations of the lecturers via e-communication means without students visiting the
University;
– online control of academic disciplines (modules, credits, course papers (projects), exams);
– online final (qualification) paper defense and online final exams.
