Stepping–up Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Intercultural Competences for High Quality Teaching in Ukraine

Project summary

UA-Talent-UP is an innovative project that aims at improving the competences of teachers and trainers in Ukrainian higher education institutions to enhance global entrepreneurial capacities and creativity to future students by (1) developing a teacher training program using game-based and collaborative learning methodologies and (2) creating open micro-certified short learning programs in order to better match labour market needs and to improve the level of competences, skills, employability potential and global entrepreneurial spirit of HEI students and the general public (VET). Through the creation of Creativity Hubs at the participating Ukrainian institutions, HEI teachers will be trained to impart entrepreneurial, creativity and intercultural skills in their lectures. In addition to that, face-toface and online training will be offered to students by the Creativity Hubs and to a general public by the participating Ukrainian NGO Innovation Generation.

WP1

 Project management and coordination

 

 To ensure a successful project implementation, good communication and all project deliverables delivered on time with required quality expectations met

WP2

 Train the trainers Enhance the teaching, assessment mechanisms for HEI staff and students, quality assurance, management, governance, inclusion, innovation, knowledge base, digital and entrepreneurial capacities based on gamification methodologies and collaborative learning, as well as the internationalisation of HEIs in Ukraine

WP3

 Training for students and general public Improve the level of entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity and intercultural competences, skills and employability potential of students of all disciplines and study cycles in Ukrainian HEIs and in the interested general public.

WP4

 Creation of a software for MOOCs based on a gamification framework, innovative pedagogical experiences deployment, competence assessment and micro-certification and, of an initial MOOC offer Promote inclusive education, equality, equity and non-discrimination in Ukrainian higher education. Ensure sustainability by guaranteeing institutional ownership and open access of the CBHE results.

 Quality assurance of project capacity building Systematise actions to measure the appropriateness, impact and satisfaction in relation to capacity building actions and tools.
