May 18-22, within the framework of the Erasmus+ program (project KA171), Dr. Sc., Prof. Volodymyr YASNIY, Head of the Department of Structural Mechanics, and PhD, Vitalii MOCHARSKYI, Head of the International Cooperation Department and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physics, visited the University of Economics and Innovation (WSEI) in Lublin, Poland.

During their stay, the TNTU representatives held several meetings with the university administration. Discussions with Michalina Gryniewicz-Jaworska, Dean of the Faculty of Transport and Computer Science, focused on expanding educational cooperation. A meeting with Magda Janiak, Deputy Director of the Project and International Cooperation Center, resulted in an agreement to scale up project collaboration. Initiatives on the horizon include launching virtual mobility programs between the universities, as well as expanding partnership within larger scale Erasmus+ (KA2) and Horizon Europe projects.

The TNTU delegates were given a guided tour of the laboratories at the University of Economics and Innovation, providing an opportunity to explore its material and technical facilities, as well as its advanced scientific equipment. Furthermore, prospective joint research initiatives between the two institutions in the fields of materials science and materials processing were thoroughly discussed.

In addition, Volodymyr YASNIY and Vitalii MOCHARSKYI participated in the Lublin Smart Mobility: Artificial Intelligence in Logistics and Transport conference. The TNTU faculty members also delivered a series of guest lectures for the students of the University of Economics and Innovation.

A key highlight of the itinerary was a meeting with TNTU students Vitalii TSVIHUN (group SB-21) and Taras BESH (group SI-31), who are currently completing a semester exchange at WSEI under the Erasmus+ program. The students shared their positive experiences of studying in Lublin and detailed their learning environment and living conditions.

We express our sincere gratitude to Denys Pisetskyi and Monika Ludwiniak from the Project and International Cooperation Center for their continuous assistance and guidance throughout the visit.

We look forward to further productive collaboration with our valued partners!
