On November 10, Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University (TNTU) was visited by Mr. Paolo Brescia—Head of the UCM Association “Mediterranean Union of Chefs – Italy,” a renowned expert in the gastronomic field, and curator of internship bases for students in Italy.
As part of the meeting with the University Rector, Mykola Mytnyk, the cooperation agreement was renewed. This agreement has for many years provided TNTU students and faculty with the opportunity to participate in internships, traineeships, and educational visits to Italy. This step allows for the continuation of successful cooperation and the expansion of joint initiatives.
The Agreement Provides For:
- Further strengthening of academic exchanges;
- Expansion of internship bases in leading culinary and hotel/restaurant establishments in Italy;
- Participation of our students in international internships;
- Involvement of Italian specialists in TNTU’s educational activities.
For students, this is not just an opportunity to intern in European institutions, but also a chance to witness modern trends in the hospitality industry, gain practical skills, and establish professional contacts.
TNTU continues to invest in the development of international mobility and in providing students with access to the world’s best educational practices. The Ukrainian-Italian partnership is further proof that quality education is born through collaboration.
