On 24-26 April 2024, in collaboration with Helena Chodkowska University of Technology and Economics, Poland, a team of scientists from Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University, led by Rector Mykola Mytnyk, participated in the 1st International Scientific Conference “The Multidimensionality of Cybersecurity”.
At the conference, the TNTU team presented the following reports:
- Nataliya Zagorodna, Ruslan Kozak, Mykola Mytnyk, Taras Lobur: “The analysis of the cybersecurity threats in the general secondary education environment in Ukraine”;
- Taras Lechachenko, Volodymyr Hutsaylyuk, Bogdan Kovalyuk, Mykhailo Blavitskyi, Yuriy Skorenkyy, Liudmyla Moroz: “Multi-criterion analysis of cybersecurity risks and mitigation actions for Industry0 enterprise”;
- Volodymyr Hutsaylyuk, Valeriy Lazaryuk, Mykhailo Blavitskyi: “The state of Ukraine’s cybersecurity in the face of armed conflict: challenges and prospects for defense”.
The conference brought together an international group of scholars, practitioners, educators and cybersecurity experts from Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, the UK, the Czech Republic, Italy, Austria and the USA. The conference addressed the following key topics:
- administrative and cross-border dimensions of cybersecurity;
- challenges and threats in cyberspace, forms of cybercrime and actions taken to detect them;
- social dimension of cybersecurity;
- legal aspect of cybersecurity;
- cybersecurity of Central and Eastern European countries from the philosophical, political and military point of view.
Participation in the conference will improve the training of cybersecurity specialists at our university.
