A delegation from the Czech Republic visited TNTU

On August 23, the Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University was visited by a delegation from the Czech Republic consisting of:

– Bohdan Rajcinec – Head of the European Congress of Ukrainians;

– Martin Kroupa – chairman the board, Post Bellum;

– Ivo Slavotinek – Deputy Head of the Olomouc Region.

During the meeting, cooperation in the educational and cultural sphere between TNTU and the Czech side was discussed. Rector Mykola MYTNYK thanked the representatives of the Czech Republic and the European Congress of Ukrainians for the help they provided to Ukraine during the war. It was also discussed holding joint celebrations on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of the birthday of the patron of our university Ivan Puluj in 2025. Rector Mykola MYTNYK and Head of the European Congress of Ukrainians Bohdan Rajcinec agreed to sign a memorandum between the organizations for the purpose of further cooperation. Ivo SLAVOTINEK, deputy head of the Olomouc region, promised to help in establishing contacts between our university and universities from the Czech Republic, first of all with Palacky University in the city of Olomouc.

The guests also had the opportunity to visit the Ivan Puluj museum and the university museum. The representatives of the delegation were pleasantly surprised by the extent to which Ivan Puluj united and scientifically and culturally enriched the Czech Republic and Ukraine. After the excursion, the guests left warm greetings in the Book of Honored Guests.

We hope for a quick next meeting for further effective cooperation!
