TNTU Scientists Participate in International Workshop on Remote Labs at Wrocław University of Science and Technology

On June 23-24, Professor Tetiana Vitenko, Coordinator for International Cooperation and Head of the Food Technology Equipment Department, and Associate Professor Natalia Zahorodna, Head of the Cybersecurity Department, participated in an international workshop on “Remote Labs.” The event was held at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, initiated by colleagues from KTH (Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm) and the T.I.M.E. association.


Participation in the event was made possible thanks to an invitation from colleagues at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Representatives from Lviv Polytechnic National University also joined the event.
The program of the two-day workshop was intensive, practical, and results-oriented.
* Day 1:
* Welcome lecture by Assoc. Prof. Grzegorz Lesyuk (Wrocław Tech) presenting the organizers: KTH, T.I.M.E., KPI, and Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
* Laboratory Session 1: Energy Technology (Taras Koturbash, KTH).
* Laboratory Session 2: Industry 4.0 (Dr. Eng. Marcin Korzenowski, Wrocław Tech).
* Day 2:
* Laboratory Session 3: Hydraulics and Mechanics from KPI, with the participation of Prof. Yuriy Petrakov, Ph.D. Kostyantyn Bilykov, Ph.D. Pavlo Protsenko, and Ph.D. Andriy Petryshyn.
* Tour of the laboratories of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Wrocław University of Science and Technology (industrial engineering, additive manufacturing, hydraulics).
* Concluding discussion on potential cooperation between universities.
In total, 20 participants presented their developments offline, and 28 online. We thank the organizers for the high level of the event and their openness to cooperation.
