The delegation of Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University, consisting of Doctor of Science in Technology, Professor, Head of the Department of Food Technology Equipment, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Tetiana Vitenko, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Sciences, assistant rector for digital transformation Serhii Martsenko, Ph.D., associate professor, head of the department of cyber security Nataliya Zagorodnaya and Ph.D., senior lecturer of the physics department, head of the department of international cooperation Vitalii Mocharskyi visited the Technical University of Gabrovo (Bulgaria). The visit took place within the framework of the KA171 mobility project, Erasmus+ program.
TU-Gabrovo is the leading technical university in Bulgaria. It should be noted that TNTU and TU-Gabrovo have been fruitfully cooperating for many years. Students of TNTU have the opportunity to study for a semester, and teaching staff have the opportunity to give lectures, exchange experience and undergo internships at partner universities.
University representatives took part in the plenary session and sections of the UNITECH-2024 conference and official celebrations dedicated to the 60th anniversary of TU-Gabrovo. The delegation had the opportunity to convey congratulations from the rector of TNTU Mykola Mytnyk to the rector of TU-Gabrovo Ilya Zhelezarov and to congratulate the university and the team on the anniversary. During the visit, representatives of TNTU visited new scientific laboratories: laser processing, electron beam processing, and were also able to attend the opening of a new training automation laboratory, which is equipped with equipment and components of the partner company FESTO. Modern equipment in the laboratories of TU-Gabrovo provides ample opportunities for scientific research. They exchanged experience and agreed on joint scientific research.
In addition, the delegation members met with TNTU students – Mygal Zoryana (SP-32), Stashkiv Anastasia (MNm-51) and Yakym Tetyana (MNm-51), who are studying at the Technical University of Gabrovo as participants in academic mobility within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. During a warm meeting, the girls shared their impressions of studying at the partner university and discussed the main advantages and challenges of academic mobility in general. New contacts and discussed ideas for future educational and scientific cooperation will allow TNTU to expand its international cooperation.
