Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University

In collaboration with Lviv Polytechnic National University and Northumbria University (Newcastle, UK), the Head of TNTU’s Department of Cybersecurity, Nataliya Zagorodna, joined the NATO Science for Peace and Security (SPS) program.

The program’s goal was to share applied knowledge in ethical hacking and cyber incident management among specialists from NATO partner countries. During her visit to Northumbria University from January 19 to 23, 2026, Nataliya Zagorodna successfully completed the “Cyber Defense and Ethical Hacking” course.

The visit also facilitated meetings with the Ukrainian student community at Northumbria University, providing insights into British academic life and initiatives by Ukrainian youth abroad to promote their national culture.
