The second meeting within the framework of All-Ukrainian program “Twinning”

On August 3, 2022, took place the second meeting between the working groups of TNTU (Ukraine) and Atlantic Technical University (Ireland) within the framework of All-Ukrainian program “Unification Initiative”.

The main topic of discussion was the possibility of granting TNTU access to library resources and facilities of our partner university ATU, as well as to other digital databases (Jisc, SCONUL) that support Twinning project.

Currently, the following sources of scientific-research content are open to TNTU and other Ukrainian universities

  1. Open access content https://myresearch.org/client/en_US/research/
  2. Access through the Research4Life initiative https://www.research4life.org/

In addition to the mentioned opportunities, during the meeting it was decided to grant TNTU access to the Linda Hall Library.

The Linda Hall Library is an independent library founded in 1946 in Kansas City (USA).The library has two main collections: the history of science collection and the general collection, which contain materials in the Ukrainian language. All of Linda Hall’s public domain materials are available through their online catalog, which can be accessed from the website (www.lindahall.org). For materials protected by copyright or with limited access, patrons can request a virtual library card to gain access to these materials. Additional access may be granted upon request from the University.
