On May 20, the vice-rector for international cooperation, prof. Tetiana Vitenko and the head of the international cooperation office Olena Dudar took part in an online meeting of representatives of higher education institutions participating in the program with the director of BUP, prof. Madeline Granvik, coordinator of the program in Ukraine Ludmila Babak and administrator of international projects Pontus Ambros. During the meeting, organizational issues of the Sixth Rectors’ Conference, which will take place on September 28-29, 2022, were discussed.
Bringing together 85 participating universities, BUP is one of the largest and most dynamic academic networks in the world. The fellowship was established as an inter-university program in the Baltic Sea region with its center and leadership at Uppsala University (Sweden). The Baltic University Program aims to promote and support the development of universities and related institutions in the Baltic Sea region by supporting sustainable development, including economic, social and environmental aspects; support for the development of democracy and democratic cultures; promote peaceful cooperation, international understanding and communication.
We expect that the Sixth planned Conference of Rectors will be an excellent opportunity to create a new network of contacts and expand cooperation with our partners.
